SUMMER 2011 TRENDS
1) Color

The emerging color for Spring is coral. Turquoise, yellow, fuchsia and all shades of green will continue to have strong showings. Neutrals
like “nude and pale cosmetic colors” are back in force with white as the focus. Metallics are strong and colors with a polished finish or
luster are new for Spring.

2) Florals
Florals are growing wild for Spring from a ditsy pattern (Nashville hippie) to chinoiserie for a modern, metropolitan feel.

Watch for vintage florals for Boho revival and botanicals for a casual, traditional or everyday jean compliment. Graphic prints and
single stem (remember Natalie Portman at the Golden Globes?) impressions add interest for any occasion.

3) Embellishments
Layered jewelry, layers of color, textured patterns, laser cut fabrics, bows, flowers and metal accents. Embellishments add value and a
layer of style for Spring!

4) Stripes
Stripes from bold to sublime will signal the new season. Whether preppy, nautical, seaside or country,  stripes will be a focus for Spring
and Summer.

5) Long necklaces
Bold chains, colorful beads, pendants, crystals and tassels rule the neckline!

6) Statements
The big bracelet, the big ring, the big earring! Pick your passion and show off your personality. Casual wrap leather looks, chains that
dangle or stones that glisten – a big (or layered) element will set your look for Spring.

7) The Crossbody bag
Updated from fall and holiday, the trend continues with casual looks in washed materials and structured bags for a classic retro-
revisited. Hands-down, it's all about hands-free!

8) The Summer Tote
It takes a big tote to carry our Summer necessities and this season the coated canvas, straw and flowered options make a statement
that the season of fun in the sun is here!
